If part of life's goals is happiness, Steve Jobs has made my life happier with his creative genius. We need to understand how much this single man has improved our lives with zeal, creativity and vision. Respected Steve Jobs, thank you for bringing happiness to my life. -

i have never used an apple device and when laptops and other things became popular and i used a laptop from dell with an ms software on it on my first job i wondered what should be so special about a mac (my colleaque used one). and as i am still not sure about it, i am sure steve jobs was a truly remarkable person and a person who lived through and formed the times of his generation and probably more generations to come. He has taken some remarkable life decisions and deserves any respect. I don't think it is that much about those products but about his consequence in making decisions about his life and following through, be it good or bad, relevant or not. -

The White House just released the following statement from U.S. President Barack Obama:
Michelle and I are saddened to learn of the passing of Steve Jobs. Steve was among the greatest of American innovators - brave enough to think differently, bold enough to believe he could change the world, and talented enough to do it.
By building one of the planet’s most successful companies from his garage, he exemplified the spirit of American ingenuity. By making computers personal and putting the internet in our pockets, he made the information revolution not only accessible, but intuitive and fun. And by turning his talents to storytelling, he has brought joy to millions of children and grownups alike. Steve was fond of saying that he lived every day like it was his last. Because he did, he transformed our lives, redefined entire industries, and achieved one of the rarest feats in human history: he changed the way each of us sees the world.
The world has lost a visionary. And there may be no greater tribute to Steve’s success than the fact that much of the world learned of his passing on a device he invented. Michelle and I send our thoughts and prayers to Steve’s wife Laurene, his family, and all those who loved him. -

It's not so much the products, it's the way he thought differently. Creative vision like that does not come around often. #RIPstevejobsby thesiminskis via twitter 10/6/2011 1:38:42 AM -

I was shocked it felt like looking a dear friend, he totally was an inspiration in the BUSINESS WORLD and every day world. He had a big heart and love for his Apple empire. He was not on this journey to satisfy himself he wanted to help the world be a better business person with equipping them with all the tools and gadgets to make that happen. He can now be with all the other past Visionary creative genuises that have given us so much. So long Steve, thanks for who you where and what you have given us. RIP dear Friend. My condolences to your family and friends. Canadian Mac lover. -
