Councillor Karen Stintz, whose name has been linked to a possible mayoral run, has released a statement about the court's decision.
"The legal process has run its course in this case. The Mayor and Council can now focus on the business of the City.
Serving the people of Toronto is our collective priority.
This will be my only comment today."

Interesting that appeal court did NOT buy the error of judgment pitch in Ford's appeal.
The appeal court finding was rather technical, focusing on the original penalty rather than the alleged conflict itself.

Ford promises a 'grand transportation strategy' and other big changes.

Ford says he will "stay focused" in dealing with the upcoming campaign finance audit and possible Supreme Court appeal.
Mayor Ford looks emotional as he again thanks supporters.
Ford: "What I've learned is there's so much support for the people out there," including those who didn't support him last time and say he proved them wrong. "It's very humbling to know how many people out there support me and support their city."

Asked what he has learned, Mayor Ford says he has learned a lot of people support him.
Ford on the challenges of the past few months: "It's hard, it's hard on my kids, they go to school and obviously people sometimes make fun - your dad doesn't have a job." It hurts my kids, it hurts my wife when she gets her hair done or goes shopping, he says.
Mayor Ford says 90 pc of people support him.
Ford: I campaigned on stopping the waste at city hall. "There's still a lot of waste down here that we have to streamline. We're going to carry on."
