Live discussion: Globe's correspondent in Cairo discusses Egypt unrest

  • Egypt is once again at a crossroads. It has gone from revolution to democratic change. Now hundreds of thousands of protesters who filled Tahrir Square 22 months ago are calling for change again.

This time the focus of the anger is President Mohammed Morsi - the Freedom and Justice Party candidate who won the presidential contest this summer. The party is aligned with the Muslim Brotherhood.

Earlier, the Globe's Omar El Akkad took questions about the unrest in Egypt. He has been there for over a week reporting on the growing protests.
