Tell us: What would you ask the Dalai Lama?
-
What drives you in life?
Are you afraid of death? What are you afraid of?
Do you believe the world is regressing or improving from a humanity perspective?
If there’s one change you believe the United Nations should implement what would that one change be? (specific or broad) -

Your holiness, I am quite concerned about the direction that mankind is taking globally. There seems to be a focus on greed and getting rich quickly with a common disregard for humanity. I am seeing a great disparity between the very wealthy and the very poor. We live in a world where corporations making a billion dollars in profit is not enough and yet there are people sleeping on the streets.
In your opinion, what needs to happen to shift our mind set (globally) so that we make decisions based on spiritual values rather than greed. -
You have shown an openness to science, but many religious leaders have been criticized for promoting irrational thinking based on ancient texts. Would the world be bettter or worse off without religion? In this time with all our scientific understanding, shouldn't people really be turning away from ancient writings as the source of wisdom and working together for solutions based on rational thinking instead? -
